The Story · Our Origin

For Lucy.
And for John.

Though everyone knows her as Lucy, Lucia’s was a name and idea discussed in our family long before it became a concept. Inspired by my parents, Lucia’s reflects a lifelong exposure to thoughtful hospitality, epicurean experiences, storytelling, and beautifully curated environments designed to bring people together.

Influences from Sicily, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Captiva Island all find their way into the spirit of the space — layered, warm, collected, and deeply personal.

Each category begins with a personal anchor. A cookbook that shaped how I understand Italy. Playing cards gathered around a Sicilian family table. Letters between a father and daughter that inspired a lifelong tradition of writing to my own father. Every item has a reason for being there — and a story that can be shared.

Fewer, select things lead to a richer life.
Discovered rather than announced.
Personal rather than performative.
